Website Overall Observations: It's beautiful to see that such an amazing organization has been helping preserve local habits and taking care of so many animals in need for 40 years!

Website Long Island Explorer: I found the website's Educational Programs section to be very interesting. There are many different programs for all ages 3+ to have an opportunity to learn about all types of animals and their habitats. The site mentioned that they help about 2000 animals a year...I'd imagine it would be an amazing feeling to par-take in one of their programs and playing a small part in such an amazing continuous initiative.

Website Freshwater Observations: The site did not mention a specific freshwater habit, conservation or water quality issue. The information was more general. However, the photos on the Overview page are just beautiful. It's inspiring to see how a small trio started saving animals right in one of their garages. Their personality shines in the photos of them!

Website Wildlife Observations: The entire site is full of wildlife photos, facts and opportunities to learn more about them! I found it so interesting that they have helped over 30,000 animals of more than 300 species in the past 40 years.

What Needs Improvement: Well, there are two links for News and Events...one sends you to a blank page and the other only has information on an old event from January 16th... I sent them an email asking for a potential link to be able to see some of the events they have had in the past and what is to come this year. (Waiting for a response)

Question Asked: I've sent them an email asking for a potential link to be able to see some of the events they have had in the past and what is to come this year.

... Their response: Our website will be updated soon with upcoming events we will be holding. The winter time is a bit lighter with events, but we anticipate come spring and summer we will have more going on.
